The following are ways to reduce bad breath at home:

1. Brush at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste

2. Brush after each meal

3. Brush your tongue twice a day

4. Floss daily

5. If you have a denture, clean your denture in denture cleaning solution every day

6. Do not smoke

7 . Keep your mouth wet (drink a lot of fluids)

8. Chew sugarless gum to stimulate production of saliva

9. Use natural remedies including chewing on mint or parsley

10. Avoid foods such as onions, garlic and curry
